  • A welcoming chapel that seats 90 people and has additional standing room for 30 people. The chapel can also accommodate private viewings
  • There is audio-visual equipment available in the chapel so you can play music and show photos and videos that celebrate your loved one’s life
  • A refreshments area that can accommodate up to 70 people for after funeral catering
  • Two arrangement rooms where you can meet with a funeral director who will guide you through the process of arranging a funeral or memorial service
  • Funeral webcasting is available at our funeral home where the funeral service is live streamed and recorded for family members and friends to be part of the service if they are unable to attend in person

10 onsite parking spaces are available at our funeral home in addition to plenty of street parking on surrounding streets.  For those choosing to use public transport, we are easily accessible by buses. Our funeral home is accessible for visitors in wheelchairs and with other mobility aids.

Meet Therese Prebble, location manager at George Hartnett Metropolitan Funerals Wynnum

Therese has spent her professional career working with people as a teacher, a director of child care services and now in the funeral industry since 2002.

She has been a location manager since 2007 and is honoured to be entrusted to assist families during their difficult times. Therese takes great pride in guiding families through the farewell of their loved ones with sensitivity, care and dignity. She is deeply connected in the local community, participating in events with the NASHOS, Bayside Women in Business, and hosting community events in the chapel.

In her leisure, Therese enjoys spending time with her family, reading, gardening, cooking, sewing and being in the great outdoors whilst travelling and camping.
