Funeral services in Cleveland

There are many options available to you for the funeral service for your loved one. You may wish to hold it at:

  • Our chapel at George Hartnett Metropolitan Funerals, Cleveland
  • A local church (The Anglican Parish of Cleveland, Star of the Sea Catholic Parish in Cleveland, Uniting Church in Cleveland, Cleveland Baptist Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cleveland, Redlands Presbyterian Church in Capalaba)
  • Another destination in the local area, such as a park, club or private residence

Following the ceremony, your loved one can be buried or memorialised at Cleveland Cemetery, which is within walking distance of our funeral home. With Cleveland Cemetery, all burial plots at the cemetery are now reserved – you will need an existing reservation or second right of internment to bury a loved one here.

Another option Great Southern Memorial Park located on Mount Cotton Road in Carbrook. Formerly known as Mt Cotton Crematorium, this is a beautiful location set amongst manicured gardens for your loved one's final resting place. Two other options include Mt. Thompson Memorial Gardens & Crematorium or Hemmant Cemetery & Crematorium.
